The winning album is their latest release entitled, "At The Crossroad", produced by Buddy Hyatt. The title track was written by well-known Nashville songwriter, Barbara Lister Williams (daughter of legendary songwriter Mose Lister). Singin' The Gospel Homecoming Reunion - Live Video Taping April 3/12 Just under 3 weeks until a great evening of music and fellowship. Join us on April 22nd in Spruce Grove, AB at the Spuce Grove Alliance Church for "Singin' The Gospel Homecoming Reunion" featuring many of your favorite Canadian Gospel artists. In just the last few days it has been confirmed that the Homecoming will be video recorded. This will be done by Folkways Alive from the University of Alberta in conjunction with the Smithsonian Institute of Washington DC . Dr. Carl Urion has been working on a project which is looking at the history of Gospel music in Western Canada . They consider this to be a significant event and wish to record it for historical purposes. Artists appearing include: Potter's Clay Quartet, The Singing Hills, The Amundruds, Three And Company, The Reas, Reflections, Touch of Grace and many many more! We hope to see you there!  The ministry of “Singin’ the Gospel” has been ongoing for 15 years and is by all accounts the best known church sponsored Gospel music event in the greater Edmonton area. Over the years we have had well over 30 different artists be a part of this ministry. On April 22nd at 6pm we will have 15 artists (over 50 singers and musicians) on stage presenting the message of God’s love in song. A project studying the History of Gospel Music in Western Canada is being conducted by Dr. Carl Urion at Folkways Alive at the University of Alberta in association with Smithsonian Folkways Recordings in Washington DC. This event is considered to be significant enough that Folkways Alive will be sending a 2 man camera crew to record this event for historical purposes. Copies will be kept for study purposes at the U of A, the Smithsonian, and probably in the music section of the Canadian National Museum. It is an honour and a privilege to be included in this study in this way."
